Block-a-Pix is a captivating puzzle game that combines logic and art to create whimsical pixel-based pictures. Instead of traditional puzzles, Block-a-Pix challenges players to uncover hidden images by dividing a grid into rectangular blocks based on provided clues.

The game features a unique fingertip cursor that allows for precise and effortless gameplay. To create a block, simply press and hold your fingertip on a clue, wait for the cursor to fill the square, and start dragging it to neighboring squares. Removing blocks is just as easy: double-tap or use the eraser button above the puzzle.

Block-a-Pix offers a variety of features to enhance the puzzle-solving experience. Graphic previews in the puzzle list provide a visual representation of the progress made on each puzzle, while the Gallery view option allows for larger previews. Additionally, players can enjoy a weekly bonus section that offers an extra free puzzle every week.

The game boasts an extensive library of top-quality puzzles, with 125 free samples available in color. The puzzle library is continuously updated with new content to keep players engaged and entertained. Each puzzle is manually crafted by talented artists and has a unique solution.

Whether you're a casual gamer or a puzzle enthusiast, Block-a-Pix offers hours of intellectually stimulating entertainment. With grid sizes reaching up to 100x65 and multiple difficulty levels, there's a challenge for everyone. Playing Block-a-Pix sharpens logic skills and improves cognitive abilities.

In terms of gaming features, the game offers options to zoom, reduce, and move puzzles for easier viewing. Players have unlimited checks, undo and redo moves, and can enable error checking when a block is completed. The exclusive fingertip cursor design ensures smooth navigation through large puzzles. The app also allows for concurrent play and saving of multiple puzzles, as well as filtering, sorting, and archiving options.

Block-a-Pix supports both portrait and landscape screen orientations on iPad devices, and puzzle solving times can be tracked for added competition. Additionally, progress can be backed up and restored through iCloud.

About the game itself, Block-a-Pix is the digital adaptation of popular puzzles known by various names such as Shikaku, Shikakunikire, Block Pix, and Blockbuster Paint doku.
